The Truth about Hypnosis by Jim Katsoulis and Tellman Knudson is a good product but it isn’t as clear as it should be on the pitch page what you are getting. One of the reasons you may be watching this review is you want to make sure you aren’t wasting your time with this purchase. You know you can get your money back if you don’t like it but you know you can’t get your time back. So our job is to break down what you are really getting so you know if it meets your needs and hopefully save you from having to do it yourself.
There are two parts to this product. One is a 12 month weekly course which included a bonus self hypnosis session. The other is a collection of hypnosis information. There are two different paths you can take to the weekly course. One is to purchase the collection of information and then receive a free month of the weekly courses followed by a low monthly fee. The other way is to click no thank you to the collection of information which gives you another offer. This offer lets you get your first month of the weekly courses for a very low price and then the rest of the moths for the standard monthly fee. So what you have here is options and the ability to get a high priced item for small monthly payments.
Let’s look at the two parts of this product more closely. The 12 month weekly course is enormous. It costs little to nothing for the first month and then $27 per month for the next 11 months. There is a lesson every single week for 12 whole months. That’s 52 lessons. I took a look at some of these lessons. They give you the information in small bite size chunks. So every week you get a little bit more information and aren’t too overwhelmed. Each one is about a 15 minute audio or video format or a 7 page transcript format. So after 52 weeks this will add up to more than 350 pages and 13 hours or video/audio. Keep in mind that after 12 months the fees will add up to almost $300. Most of the higher priced one time payment courses on hypnosis we looked at came in around $200. You get roughly the same amount of material in this one as you do in those, so what you are paying the extra $100 for here is for the convenience of only having to pay a small amount per month. Think of it like a convenience charge.
The collection of hypnosis information is very interesting. It’s called the LASHK records. It’s a fancy name which is an anagram for Lost Archive of Secret Hypnotic Knowledge. Basically what you get here is a collection of books on hypnosis, many hypnosis interviews with some of the top experts on hypnosis of today, and of course the free month membership in the weekly training program above. It costs $97. The collection of books is actually very old texts on hypnosis written by long dead masters. This means that they actually fall under fair use copy right and you can get them for free without paying for this membership. What you don’t get without this membership is the collection of authors and titles. Jim and Tellman have gathered all of these for you and are offering them to you in electronic format. What I am saying is that this is like a recommended reading list and you don’t know what it is unless you pay for the LASHK records.
The interviews are with hypnosis experts like Joe Vitale, Steve G. Jones etc. They are about an hour and they include transcripts. You get to listen to Jim and Tellman interviewing each expert. They will tell you about their lives, their backgrounds, their secrets, their tips and tricks and they will tell you about their programs. Each one of these experts is selling their own hypnosis program on anything from hypnotic writing (as in sales e-mails) to weight loss and self improvement.
Ok, let me be honest here. I don’t think the $97 is worth it—but that doesn’t mean you feel the same. If you want to have access to some old books on hypnosis that you could have for free and you want to listen to a bunch of teaser interview selling you more products then spend your $97 and enjoy. You will also get the weekly hypnosis classes don’t forget.
The one thing that saves this product from going to the not recommended pile is the weekly 12 month training program. Now some people might prefer to get all the information at once and I will again be honest, I fall into that category. I want to make sure there really are 52 training courses coming to me. In this review I can’t actually guarantee that either because I have only seen six so far. But some people do like to get information in smaller chunks. Those of you who have very busy lives may enjoy this. The one nice thing about this monthly payment system is it delivers a more expensive program and breaks the payments down into easier to handle amounts billed out monthly.
So if you are constrained by a tight budget but want to gets some good quality, fascinating hypnosis information you have an option here. That is why I am putting this one in the recommended pile. I recommend this product for people interested in learning about general hypnosis but can’t afford to pay for the higher priced items but can afford a small monthly price.

If you want to buy direct from Steve G. Jones he has his own website where he sells his individual books, CDs and MP3’s. So why would you buy The Ultimate Conversational Hypnosis package by Steve G. Jones from this guy named Paul Mascetta? Isn’t it better to get it right from the original author? Not in this case. I actually went to Jones’ website and tried to find all the different modules offered by Mascetta (I couldn’t find all of them) and after my order had added up to over $400 I finally gave up. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars I can get it for less than $100. That is my answer.
So what do you get with this training program? You get 18 modules with transcripts so you can either listen to or read the material. I know you might be thinking you could listen to it in your car on the way to work or something here but please don’t. I have heard the way Jones speaks in these modules and it’s very likely you could fall asleep or something. That’s also why having a transcript is important for those of you who tend to fall asleep during class.
Module one and two are basically introductions to hypnosis. They tell you what you are going to be learning in the other modules and a little bit about the history of hypnosis. Module three through nine teach you a variety of skills and tactics associated with hypnosis. These will discuss: representational systems and NLP, pacing and mirroring, embedded commands and NLP, eye-accessing cues—eyes as a window to the soul, anchoring and how to manipulate through anchoring, pattern interrupt and the power of unusual comments, suggestibility tests and stage hypnosis. Module 10 and 11 are about using conversational hypnosis for dating success. Module 12 is about self hypnosis for success. Module 13 and 14 are for improving your physical and spiritual health. Module 15 and 16 are about mastering sales through conversational hypnosis. Module 17 and 18 are review and specific examples of using conversational hypnosis.
The bonuses include a transcript of all the modules, a dating hypnosis MP3, a general confidence hypnosis MP3, a hypnotic techniques for dating success audio book, introduction to hypnosis audio book, hypnotic sales mastery techniques eBook, and advanced hypnotherapy for professionals. Some of this sounds a little redundant compared to what is given in the 18 modules so it’s a little confusing but you get all this for $99.95 so a little confusion because of extra stuff tossed in is not too terrible.
Here is why I think this material is so inexpensive compared to Jones’ web site. This is a small taste of what Jones has to offer, but by no means a complete library. What they probably want is to get you “hooked” for this smaller price and have you go back for more at the regular price. This is just my guess. I could be wrong. Does this mean you shouldn’t buy it? Nope. It’s a nice way to get a little information on hypnosis by one of the top experts for a reasonable price. Just keep in mind that you may end up going for more and spending more money on more of Jones’ material. So you may start “Jonesing” for Jones—sorry couldn’t resist.
I am going to say I recommend this for people who really want material by Jones but don’t want to pay for his high prices. I also recommend it as a moderately priced general look at hypnosis. It isn’t as specific and in depth as some of the other products we have reviewed but most of those are more expensive. Just remember there is a 60 day money back period so if you want to try it to see if its what you want then there is no risk at all.

Underground Hypnosis Reviewed

It is perfectly reasonable to be a bit skeptical and careful when buying a product online. When you read the almost comic book like background story for Underground Hypnosis by Taylor Starr, you might raise an eyebrow, but if you give it a chance you will see there is something worth your attention here.
Starr wants you to believe that there is a secret underground “black ops” world of hypnosis subculture called “the Triad,” that he has tapped into. Has he? Maybe, you never know for sure. Is he really a hypnosis addict? Quite possibly, I would guess. If you really can do what he says, that is a powerful tool and power is definitely addictive. Whether you believe his story or not doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is whether he has a good product.
Three techniques this course teaches you are called the: the Iron Man Pattern, the Black Mirror Operation, and the No Cleaver Technique. The Iron Man Pattern is mostly a self esteem technique. You can’t approach a situation without confidence and expect to prevail (e.g.-get your boss to give you a raise). The Black Mirror Operation is a technique used to gain rapport with your target, to get them to trust you and confide in you, things which are essential when you wish to manipulate someone. The No Cleaver technique is simply conversational hypnosis. This allows you with normal conversation to make your target believe it would be fundamentally wrong to disagree with you.
When you purchase this package for $97.77 you will get audio training as well as transcripts of each so that you can listen or read, depending on your preferred method of learning. This includes secret knowledge of Black Ops hypnosis, a revealing look at underground hypnosis, and the roots of covert control, advanced tactics and training on how to hypnotize anyone in a controlled environment. There is an upsell option for about $40 more, a total purchase price of $136.37. This has extra material, called the Masters edition. These are a whole pile of extra audio recordings and workbooks. This extra information included the secrets to becoming alpha in social circles, knowing when people are lying and getting the truth out of them, more advanced techniques, dream interpretations, secrets of hypnosis and mind seductions.
So what do we have here? It is a hypnosis training program with a flair for the romantic. A lot of the other programs reduce hypnosis to science and psychology. This one maintains the air of mystery and puts on a show for its students and keeps the smoke and mirrors in place while teaching at the same time. There is nothing wrong with that. It still teaches you everything you need to know about hypnosis. The same stuff everyone else teaches. Maybe it even gives you more. Some of you after all might want hypnosis to keep its magical and mystical air. If this is more attractive to you than dry science then Underground Hypnosis will serve your needs much better than any of the other products we reviewed.
Despite the fantastical portrayal, or maybe because of it, you might want to check out this training program for yourself. If you want to learn hypnosis and still maintain the air of mystery and mysticism then I highly recommend this product. If you want scientific rationale and total understanding of how things work, rather than secret code names and decoder rings then I recommend you take a pass on this and look at one of the other products we reviewed. Let’s face it though—most of you came here looking for something cool and Underground Hypnosis certainly delivers that.

The Power of Conversational hypnosis is another product created by Igor Ledochowski’s and sold by Clifford Mee (see our review of Secrets of Hypnosis). This product is similar to the other one but has more and seemingly different content, does not give you an option to sign up for the monthly membership (though you can still cancel any time you choose) and costs $100 more. I am not sure why there are two products so I will review both and then let you decide.
In the other product we reviewed they promised you would learn the secrets behind hypnosis and hypnotherapy, stage hypnosis and magic, NLP, seduction techniques, power sales closing strategies, persuasion and influence of all kinds including underground, covert and other so-called secret hypnosis methods. In this product they promise you will learn how to influence anyone to follow your lead, negotiating with success, success in sales, compelling colleagues to do what you suggest, get your kids to listen to you and obey you, keep your lovers loyal and just get respect and compliance from everyone in general. The content seems different on first blush, but is it? In other words why two different products? Why does one have fewer sessions with different names and claim to be everything you need to become a master hypnotist.
Let’s look at the sessions here. In this product rather than starting off with an introduction that tells you a lot about the psychology behind hypnosis it jumps straight into teaching you about how to use conversational hypnosis. The second session is about rapport, an important tool in conversational hypnosis. The third session is about hypnotic language, words of power, tones and emphasis etc. Session four is about power and authority and how to get it. Session five is about emotional triggers and using them to create the responses you want in the people around you. Session six is advanced hypnotic language. In session seven you learn about telling stories that are captivating and moving. Session eight delves into conversational inductions. Session nine teaches how to control people with story telling and includes a small bonus cheat sheet to help you learn this technique. In session ten you are taught how to use frames to lead people. In session eleven you learn about the conversational trance. Finally session twelve takes you through the final steps to mastering conversational hypnosis which also includes cheat sheets to help you learn.
And if the twelve sessions weren’t enough there is a 600+ page manual which includes transcripts of all the audio sessions and more. There are also 4 bonus sessions with stealth and shadow tactics, secrets to bypassing resistance, a demo hypnotic story teller induction and a break down of that induction to make it easy for you to learn.
So what is the difference between this product and that other one I mentioned? Well as you see in the above list of sessions this product is all about conversational hypnosis. It’s a very specific and in depth look into this one field. While the other product gives you a good grounding in hypnosis overall, this one is like an arrow straight to the heart of hypnosis and manipulation through conversation. So the answer is yes they are two distinct products. They need two products because obviously there is a lot of material in both and perhaps some people might not want to pay for all of it. Yes, I am saying that you could easily pay for both and it would be a good investment or if you want one and not the other that would be good too. Both are stand alone but both build on each other if you want more.
The price of $197 is reasonable. Other programs out there that zero in on conversational hypnosis like this are similarly priced. The price also contains a one month free membership in a very exclusive hypnosis VIP club. In this club you get access to 5 to 6+ hours of master classes each month and workbooks, bonus resources, private community club forum (including a Q & A with Igor), Igor’s private hypnosis blog where he shares valuable insights, bonus downloadable monthly hypnotic inductions, additional member support, and special extra bonuses. This is the only VIP monthly membership I have seen so far which actually seems worth spending some money on, out of all the reviews I have done. It is $47 a month after the first free month.
If you were really serious about learning about conversational hypnosis I think this package would be a very good choice. I recommend both this one and the other Clifford Mee product “Secrets of Hypnosis Revealed” because I think that the one provides a good foundation for the other.

Mind Force Master System Reviewed

I know why you’re here. You’re checking out my review because you are thinking about purchasing the Mind Force Library by A. Thomas Perhacs and you were a little confused by his pitch page. If you’re not confused then you haven’t tried to click the purchase button yet.
I usually make a little post-it for each product I am reviewing—its part of my writing process to keep me organized. Well the post-it I am looking at right now is far from organized. It’s got arrows arcing up through text written horizontally and vertically. It’s got sections scribbled out and words squeezed into places they were never meant to be—nothing like all the other products’ post-its. What my post-it tells me is that I have a little untangling to do in this review! So let me see what I can do for you.
The first thing I saw when I looked at this web page is that it says I get 7 books in 3 volumes (really it looks like 7 sections of 3 books but who am I to judge). The first “volume” is Mind Force Secrets which includes the “books” Mind Force Attraction, Mind Force Meditation and Mind Force Psychic Energy. The second volume is a complete book on its own and is called Manipulation, The Master Secrets of Covert Persuasion & Hypnotic Influence. The third volume is called Mind Force Hypnosis which includes the books Hetero Hypnosis, Closed Door Self Hypnosis and The 12 Devices That Almost Instantly Hypnotize.
As you scroll down the pitch page you will notice how things seem a little disjointed and get repeated. There are no smooth segues and there is a lot of information thrown at you in a jumble—especially if you are just trying to scan and skim so you can figure out the gist of it. It takes a lot not to go into information overload. An example of the confusion is that at the top of the page the books are listed with Mind Force Secrets first and each of the three volumes seem to be part of the main body of the product. Then further down Manipulation is first and the others are listed as bonuses to that book.
So let me try to help you figure out what you actually get in this product. In these volumes you will read about: hypnosis & self hypnosis, attraction and influence techniques, meditation, remote viewing, astral projection & OBE, and psychic abilities. So this is one of those products which covers a broad spectrum rather than focusing on an in depth look at one particular thing. You have many many subjects under two broad topics (hypnosis and psychic abilities) covered in this collection.
You will learn devices to hypnotize including: developing the intensity of your gaze, mental preparations for hypnotism, autosuggestion, building up your energy, how to hypnotize easily, how to reinforce through suggestion, utilizing the “mirror” effect, developing a potent gaze, using your hands as transmitters. You will get information on self hypnosis and many of the different forms of hypnosis. You will also learn about developing your power of attraction and a variety of abilities including lucid dreaming, remote viewing, meditation, astral projection, aura reading and telepathy etc.
As you see this product is packed with all sorts of goodies. One last thing I need to sort out for you is how much does all this costs. It seems there are several different packages and prices for you to choose from. The first one presents all 3 volumes together for $47, then hits you with a $20 upsell offer after you click the “add to cart” button. The upsell is for 6 MP3 recordings of some of the topics covered by the eBooks you are purchasing. So if you just want to get the complete eBook package it costs $47 but if you want to add these 6 MP3 recordings its $67.
When you click the “add to cart” button for the other option, the Manipulation Books only (this product is just the hypnosis books minus the more “out there” psychic stuff), for some reason Perhacs feels the need to present you with another page which has information you already read. Either that or he is just directing you to a stand alone pitch page to complete the sale. Whatever is going on there you don’t need to read it, right? I mean you already decided to purchase when you clicked the button and he actually isn’t selling anything else or upselling in anyway. The only thing new on this page is that you get a few free bonus MP3’s and videos. Just scroll on down and click the “add to cart” button again if you still want to. Then finally you will be able to purchase the product for $27. Nope, fooled you! Then you will actually go to another page where he does try to upsell you his 6 MP3 recordings for $40. Yes, they are the same ones I mentioned above that he sells for $20 when you buy the whole package. That is pretty weird. No matter what you choose he tries to upsell you to $67. Hmmmm.
Anyway, I actually might have recommended this product if it weren’t for all the hocus pocus at the point of sale. It’s cheap compared to the rest. Even if the author seems a little confusing and disorganized, you could probably get your $67, $47 or $27 worth. The sneaky tactics with the upsell put me off though. So if you want my own personal opinion I have to say I do not recommend this product. If you still want to try it, I am not stopping you. It’s not like you are going to lose much and its not like you don’t have 60 days to try it for yourself, before getting your money back when you find out you could spend it better elsewhere.

Raw Hypnosis Reviewed

I found Raw Hypnosis by Ryan Clark to be an interesting product with an even more interesting payment method. Ryan purports Raw Hypnosis to be a new form of hypnosis which is different from all the rest. A technique so powerful that there are people trying to make it illegal. In my experience this kind of stuff is just hype and of course this claim is not backed with names or news story quotes of any kind. Everyone usually claims to have something nobody else has and very few are significantly different. Not many claim to be almost illegal. That is definitely new. In this review I will try to help you decide if this product is right for you.
Raw Hypnosis was created by Ryan Clark. This is a training package meant to teach you about covert hypnosis. If you purchase his training, he promises you will have wealth, love, power, respect and success. Clark teaches you covert hypnosis which combines elements of hypnosis, psychology, persuasion, NLP, seduction and communication. This is basically the same as other products we have reviewed. It is the subtle manipulation and persuasion of others which influences their behavior and choices in your favor or just plain gets them to warm up to you and like you.
You have to learn how walk before you learn how to run and that is the goal in the first part of this training. The first part is an entire training on standard hypnosis. This part of the product tells you about the history of hypnosis, dispel the myths about hypnosis and shows you the simple “stage show” types of hypnosis. Who doesn’t want to make someone cluck like a chicken? Kidding aside, these lay the foundation of the next part of the program which finishes your training off by teaching you how to integrate hypnosis into your daily life so that you can start getting what you want from people. Clark teaches you how things work so you can use the tools and techniques in any situation to achieve your goals with out fear of failure.
This training includes 22 audio recordings with transcriptions of each recording so that you can choose between listening to them or reading them. Instead of just charging you for the training package, Clark is giving it to you for “free” for joining something called the Hypnosis VIP Club. In this club you get to have new audio recordings about conversational hypnosis each month, access to “classic” books on hypnosis (meaning books that are so old they fall under fair use copyright and you can actually find them on Google for free already) and a bunch of other assorted stuff on hypnosis. Sort of like a large library of material in both audio and video format that you will have access to.
In order to gain access to this VIP section and the “free” training program, you need to pay $47 a month for 24 months. Clark makes sure you think that this is only temporary because it will soon be $197. I am not sure what the rush is because $47 time 24 is $1128. So $197 sounds like a bargain. I suppose what he is doing here is seeing how many months he can squeeze money out of you before you wise up and cancel. Theoretically you could pay only the first $47 and then quit and keep the book. Most people will let it run a little longer I am sure. Some may even forget about the subscription and let it run for a while. Either way Clark figures he has a sure $47 out of you.
Even though there is a lot of valuable information to learn in this product I am going to say I do not recommend this product based on the pricing issues. Either Clark wants over $1000 for his product or he wants to see how much he can get and I just don’t like those tactics. If you want to check it out and you think $47 is an ok price then that is up to you. Just remember to cancel your membership before you end up paying hundreds of dollars you never planned to pay.

The Art of Covert Hypnosis by Steven Peliari is a very in depth look at covert hypnosis. Some of the other products we reviewed include information on self-help hypnosis, but this one is purely about learning how to manipulate others. If that is your goal then this is your product. It doesn’t lose focus or stray onto other topics like losing weight or stopping smoking. This product includes a 322 page/20 chapter eBook, a workbook and MP3 recordings of each chapter. The 322 pages are all devoted to making you a master at Covert Hypnosis.
The eBook is full of information. The introduction tells you what you can expect in each chapter and then busts some myths about hypnosis. It emphasizes that hypnosis is more about influencing people and is by no means about truly controlling other people. It also lays out a 16 week study guideline for you to follow. The study guide gives you a time table for when you should be reading each chapter and what exercises to complete before you move on to the next chapter. This is helps the 322 pages and 20 chapters of this eBook seem a little less intimidating and also helps you keep on track so you don’t lose momentum.
The book begins with the basics of what is hypnosis. Then it gives you the fundamentals of the three fields which Peliari presents as forming the foundation of Covert Hypnosis: NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), Hypnosis and Mentalism. Many of the chapters of the book are devoted to first introducing these fields and then expanding on them and finally going into advanced techniques. There are many more chapters as well which explain the ins and outs of covert hypnosis and get into some even more advanced techniques which bring all three fields together.
There is so much information in each chapter. It’s almost like reading 101+ ways to influence or outright lead people by the nose. There are several levels of Covert Hypnosis taught in this book all the way from basics to some seriously advanced stuff that you would never imagine being able to do. Chapter 2 through 20 have exercises at the end of them to complete so that you put what you learn into practice.
The book comes with a workbook with revisions and exercises so that you can really master all the techniques being taught in the eBook. This book is 41 pages and includes study material for chapter. The study material is basically the stuff from the end of each chapter. Its better pulled out into one guide though so you don’t have to scroll around looking for your exercises. This material includes a list of Q and A’s that could be handily turned into flash cards as well as a couple of exercises for you to do based on what you learned. Yes you are going to be hypnotizing people right from the start at chapter 2!
For those who are always on the go or just learn better while listening, there are MP3’s of all 20 chapters. I added it up and came up with about 10 hours of listening materials in these recordings. Just one warning, which Peliari also gives, don’t assume you can listen to them while driving. He uses one of those calm, slow dare I say hypnotic voices and I could easily see someone falling asleep at the wheel listening to it. Also be warned users of Windows Media Player! Those funky colors and lines and stuff coupled by the hypnotic voice may cause you to tune out and miss entire segments! I learn better by reading usually myself, but for those of you who need to listen to learn you will have to find ways around this challenge. Minimizing that screen with the colors is your first step!
The information in this manual can be useful in so many ways. You could use it to get better sales. You could use it to have more rapport with people and make more connections with people. You could just use it to influence people around you to have things go your way. You could even do some good stage or party tricks with this information. The list is endless really. If any of these are what you are looking for this is a good product for you. It’s extensive, detailed and very in depth. It gives you the option to read or listen to the material and it gives you exercises to help really apply what you are learning.
The price is reasonable considering what you get. There is no recurring cost just a one time payment of $176. There are other products which cost more by charging weekly fees which add up to more. What I like about this one is that you get the whole thing as soon as you purchase. It gives you a weekly guide to follow but does not hold back anything or make you keep paying to get more.
This one is definitely going into the highly recommended category. If you are looking for some more self-help type hypnosis you might want to give it a pass but if you are looking for some of that covert stuff like you see on the TV show The Mentalist, this eBook is all you will ever need.
